Tracking Your Cycle Shouldn’t Cost You Your Privacy
Ebb is a free period and fertility tracker that keeps your data on your own device. It is proudly maintained by LYF Mail.
Why Ebb Exists?
Cycle tracking is genuinely useful: it helps people understand their bodies, plan for or avoid pregnancy, spot patterns worth raising with a doctor, and simply feel prepared. But most tracking apps run on cloud accounts, analytics and advertising. That means one of the most intimate datasets a person has ends up on someone else’s servers.
Ebb takes a different route. The app runs in your browser, entries are stored on your device, and there is no cycle database on our side. The easiest data to protect is the data we never collect.
What We Believe?
- Your body, your data. You should never have to trade privacy for a calendar.
- No advertising. Ebb has no ad networks and no tracking pixels, and it never will.
- Be honest about limits. We tell you what the server can see, and what Ebb cannot do (it is not a medical device or contraception).
- Show, don’t just tell. The code is published so it can be inspected.
Who Maintains Ebb?
Ebb is proudly maintained by LYF Mail, a privacy-focused project group that also builds tools such as LYF SOS. Ebb is offered as a free, public-good product rather than a data business.
