Plain-language terms for using Ebb.

1. Agreement

By using Ebb (“the Service”), operated by LYF Mail, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What Ebb Is?

Ebb is a free, browser-based cycle tracking tool. Data you enter is stored on your device. Ebb is provided for personal, non-commercial use.

3. Not Medical Advice

Ebb is an informational tool. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, and must not be used as a method of contraception. Predictions are estimates. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional about medical decisions.

4. Your Responsibilities

  • Keep your device secure and your backups safe. Ebb has no cloud copy, so lost or cleared data cannot be recovered by us.
  • Provide only information you are entitled to share (for example when using Partner Sync, only with the other person’s consent).
  • Do not misuse the Service: no attacking, overloading, scraping or reverse engineering to interfere with it, and no use of Partner Sync to harass or monitor someone without their consent.

5. Partner Sync and Consent

Partner Sync is opt-in and based on consent from both people. Do not use it to track or pressure another person. You can disconnect at any time.

6. Intellectual Property and Open Source

Ebb’s name and logo belong to LYF Mail. The source code is published at GitHub under the license stated in that repository. Your data remains yours.

7. Availability and Changes

We work to keep Ebb available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change or discontinue features; because your data is local, you can always export it.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LYF Mail and its maintainers are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including data loss or health decisions made using Ebb’s estimates.
